Being a new creation means desiring a relationship with God rather than gratifying selfish desires (Ephesians 4:22-24). New creations fight against sin rather than giving in to it (1 John 3:3-4). Yes, you will still sin, but the goal is to resist willful sin (Romans 6:1-7, 11-12).
To be sanctified means that you will hate your sin more and more and, as we mature in our faith, resisting sin will get easier (2 Corinthians 7:1; 1 John 1:6) Another part of us being a new creation is realizing that we have a new identity in Christ. we have power in Christ and can overcome anything—as long as you CHOOSE to fight it and BELIEVE. (Philippians 4:13).
As a new creation in Christ, we are empowered by and for righteousness. We are wonderful, beautiful children of God, whom He has created with great care, love, and thoughtfulness for Him and for His glory.
“…to all who did receive [Jesus], who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12-13)
We are a new creation, when we BELIEVE.
We need to believe in what GOD says we have and not in what our eyes see or ears hear. If we focus on the flesh and how we FEEL, it is harder to believe. God tells us to think on these things, whatever is lovely and of good report. God’s truths and Word are of good report and are the loveliest words.
Many people have heard that God is the one who is causing or allowing the bad things in the world and in your life. It makes it hard to believe HE has all the good things for us as our inheritance when we believe wrong. And that is wrong belief!
God has provided an amazing, powerful inheritance for us, filled with the same authority He had that was given by His Father. We don’t often see God’s people walking in this inheritance so it is hard for us, even in the church to believe it really is ours and we can have it all now.
God never intended us to wait till we die to inherit His power and authority, we really don’t need it in heaven. We need to take that here on earth so we can live that exceedingly abundant life, filled with power, authority, joy unspeakable, love, joy peace, soundness of mind, power to raise the dead and heal the sick, to open blind eyes and see the lost saved.
BELIEVE in the finished work of Jesus Christ & take your inheritance.

Ephesians 4:22-24 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
John 3:3-4 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. 4Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.
Romans 6:11-12 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.
Romans 6:1-7 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. 5For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin- 7because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.
2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
John 1:12-13 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God- 13children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
Matthew 10:7-8 As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive our demons. Freeley you have received; freely give,
