Waiting on the LORD?

There’s a popular song that when I sang it I just couldn’t sing the words.
“Waiting on the Lord” “Waiting on the Lord.” Then I began to study these scriptures. I also heard a teaching about the same time that brought clarity to this.
We ARE NOT Waiting for the Lord to move in our lives or waiting for Him to answer a prayer or waiting for Him to heal.
This kind of ‘wait’ is the kind of wait that a waiter does for us when he/she serves us. This wait is us waiting on the Lord with our worship, our giving, etc..  Now as I sing this song, I picture myself with a silver tray in hand, waiting on Our Lord. What a difference it makes in our understanding of Christ when we truly understand the meaning behind the words in scripture.

I hear Christians often say, “I am waiting for God to answer my prayer or waiting for His healing.” “I don’t know why He is not answering my prayer!”  or ” I just don’t know what I am suppose to learn while I am waiting on God to move in my life, it must be something really good, or I am suppose to be learning something in this ‘waiting’ time.”

You have this wrong! He has already healed everyone He is ever going to. He has answered our desires through His sacrificial death on the cross. It is Finished!  It is DONE!

 >>>> I AM BLESSED! <<<<

 >>>> YOU ARE BLESSED <<<<

You need to appropriate what He has already provided by believing in HIS  finished work . You do not even need more faith, you simply need to believe. though it is not so simple, since we have had 2000 years of unbelief preached to us.  Start believing, start taking your inheritance. You have all the healing in your spirit, it now needs to come out in the physical. NO MORE WAITING for God to heal us. IT IS DONE! NO MORE WAITING for God to Bless, you have already been blessed . We all have the same faith. We have THE FAITH OF GOD living inside each of us. Again, you just need to know what you have, believe what you have and start appropriating it.

God wants you well, He wants you healed, prosperous, forgiven and set free. He paid the price on the cross and its been paid in full.

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

Psalm 27:14

I love this Connie. Thanks for posting. It amazes me how we’ve made it so hard to understand the word, and so easy to misundertand the word. I believe our understanding of the word comes from how we view God. If we just understood what a loving Father he is I think we would see the written word much more clearly. If we see Him as angry, waiting to punish us, then of course we’re going to make it hard on ourselves to receive the things that He has already provided for us.
