His birth would change the world. He would bring forth a revolution of new life and be a shining light in a world filled with darkness.
It seems like I just posted about Christmas. I have been told: “You are trying to keep Jesus a baby.” That is just not true. I celebrate my birthday, why not celebrate HIS even more? He had to come as a man to redeem us and reconcile us unto Him. A New Covenant. A New Life for us all. He came as a child, He grew and learned to talk just like you and me. He didn’t come out of the womb, talking and ministering. He ‘became the man’ that God had planned for Him to be – to be the SAVIOR of the whole world. What an incredible gift. This is why I love Christmas and why after much thought on this I finally decided it was ok for me to celebrate and rejoice in the GIFT OF HIS SON.
~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS ~
I am told: But Christmas is so commercialized? ~ I got over that and decided ~ SO WHAT! I get to talk about my Jesus to the woman in line at the grocery store and for the first time this year, she might even listen. I get to celebrate the incredible LOVE of an incredible God who sacrificed His one and only Son so that I would be healed, prospered, forgiven and set-free to live this incredible LIFE here and now, not waiting to die and live it! WOW ~ I LOVE HIM SOOOOOOO MUCH! What a Loving, Father we have.
Thank You for sending your Son!
Thank You for sacrificing Your Son for me to have LIFE! To Live it all to the fullest now! Healed, Prosperous, Forgiven and Set Free. My Old life is gone and I now have a New Life. We are to show forth His Light in a world of Darkness. I want it to be so bright, so filled with Him that No darkness can survive in my presence.
Have you have ever been to Cave of The Winds or other caves when they turn out the lights? That is how dark it ‘could be’ – if not for the One Light. It only takes a tiny bit (mustard seed size) of Light to dispel the darkness.
I LOVE YOU DADDY
~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ Merry Christmas ~~~~~~~~~~~~
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
